Pre-Race Set Up

Before Pro Bike Wash attends any Cycling Event we always do our homework. Every Cycling Event is a little different to the last and we have to do our bike cleaning preparation accordingly.

If we haven't attended the Event venue before we will make a pre-race trip to make sure we know how much space we have to work in and where the access for power and water is.

This information combined with the number of expected riders will dictate our specific staffing and equipment requirements for the event ahead.

On the day of the event we will arrive on site before any of the riders arrive to commence set up. This usually takes between 30 to 45 minutes depending on amount of equipment needed.

Once prepared we will be ready to wash bikes before anyone has even got into their saddle. In fact if a rider has turned up with a embarrassingly dirty bike we might even give it a quick wash before they leave. Aren't we nice?

Then with all our bike cleaning preparation done, we wait!

Of course we might wander about and chat to the other exhibitors and Event staff but we will be poised to leap into action the moment that first rider returns.
